Stockton Multi-Style Escrima Seminar & Testings for Instructor/Guru Level in Greenville, South Carolina -May 2022

Hello World from Florida, USA :)

Last May 25th-30th the Stockton Multi Style Escrima technical directors (Master June Gotico, Guro Eugene Inis and Guro Terry Joven) travelled from Stockton, California to Greenville/Easley, SC to train SMSE Members from South Carolina, Florida and Connecticut, to teach a seminar in Raja Academy of Martial Arts of our good friend Sifu Harun Raja (thank you Sir for all your support and friendship). In this event we had the participation of multiple martial artists and the participation of one very special guest, yes the living legend Grand Master Dan Medina (Derobio Escrima), such a honor, to have his presence, support and with the presence of many of his students. All this was organized by my brother Guro Chris LaCava and with the super help of his dear wife, thank you so much to both of you for all your kindness. During these days, my Brother Chris LaCava, Philip Pascual and I tested for our Instructor or Guro Level, the completion of all Stockton Multi Style Escrima curriculum and authorization to teach this amazing art composed by Giron Escrima from the late GM Leo Giron and SLD (Serrada, Largo and Decuerdas) from GM Dentoy Reyvillar, teachers of our SMSE teachers. SMSE have 3 escrimas influences from Stockton FMA (Filipino Martial Arts), the ground zero of FMA in USA and outside of Philippines, these influences were the late Grand Masters Leo Giron, Angel Cabalez and Gilbert Tenio. Independently, this is only the beginning for myself and to my brothers, now really starts the real work :)
